Orlando Section Membership Development Report - October 26, 2012

                 

The number of active members at all grades in the Orlando Section increased from 1409 on September 22, 2012 to 1442 on October 20, 2012.

 

A comparison with the totals for October 28, 2011 shows a year-over-year increase in Orlando Section membership; significant year-over-year losses among Associate Members and Members; significant year-over-year gains among Affiliates, Graduate Student Members, Senior Members, and Student Members.

From September 26, 2012 through October 20, 2012, 25 new members joined the IEEE in the Orlando Section:  4 Graduate Student Members, 3 Members, and 18 Student Members. Please reach out and welcome these new IEEE members. Their names appear on the attached list of new IEEE members to the Orlando Section with contact information.

From October 3, 2012 through October 20, 2012, 6 active IEEE members moved to the Orlando Section:  3 Life Members, 3 Members, 1 Senior Member, and 1 Student Member. Please welcome the IEEE members who have moved to the Orlando Section.  Their names and contact information are shown on the attached list.

The number of Members in Arrears for 2012 from the Orlando Section remains at 283, as of October 20, 2012.  The current list of Members in Arrears is attached to this report.  Please reach out to lapsed members you know to encourage their membership renewal in 2013.

 

No record of the MD webcast on October 16, 2012 was available at the time of this report.  The next MD webcast is scheduled for a yet-to-be-announced date in November.
